Hello everyone, :)
I'm new here and new to the world of nails!
I'm booked to do my manicure course at the end of this month and am on the cusp of booking my gel course but I just wanted to get some valuable advice from you guys who have used the products already.

I'm trying to decide between bio sculpture, Gellish and IBD to train with. Personally I prefer bio sculpture on my nails but, of course it's expensive and the profit is smaller than Gellish and IBD.

Any advice/testimonials would be appreciated so much!
Thanks :)

Sorry can't help you but I'm in the same position . I use CND but have found its really not lasting very long at all and I'm loosing customers because of this . So have been looking at gelish and Ibd . Gelish is the top end of the price scale I have found . Hopefully some others may shed some light for us .

Hi Zoe,

I don't know much about CND but I have had gellish on my nails quite a few times now and I personally don't like it, it lifts very easily on my nails (everyone is probably different though) so I've since decided not to go with gellish and am desperately searching for ibd training.

Also I done some training with gellish not long ago (manicure) and I can't say I was that impressed.

Let me know how your journey goes :)

I'm thinking of going with bio sculpture gel after having being trained in Bio Seaweed gel. I found the bio seaweed polish very good but the builder gel was crap which meant you couldn't sculpt with it and the overlays didn't last.

Hi,

I've used Bio Sculpture gel myself for around 10 years and so it was the obvious choice when I began my business.

It is on the more expensive side, however if nails are taken care of, can last for 4 weeks. I only re-do mine when the re-growth becomes too obvious.
The training I found fantastic and as they didn't 'pass' everyone on the course (unlike every other course ive been on) it gave me confidence that they were passionate about their product and its representives; also reassured me that what I did was actually correct which gave me confidence when let loose on clients!

Saying all of that, I have never used any other brand apart from CND which I offer as a cheaper alternative, so have no comparison. Hope this helps anyway - and good luck! :)

oooh....just to let you know Bio sculpture also offer an Evo range/training - It's kind of similar to CND, however it's still costly and after trying it on a few guinea pigs didn't rate it as much x

Hi Maria!

I really want to use bio sculpture in the future but just can't afford it at the moment but perhaps when I'm earning enough and have a good client Base I will definitely switch :)

Love that you rate their training too
