It's a new year, and with the new year, there's new opportunities!

Does anyone have any plans for 2025? Big or small it doesn't matter. Share what you're up to.

I'm creating a cookbook with my recipes for my kids. They asked for it so I'm getting it started.

What are you guys doing in 2025?

I am hoping to have more full weeks closed from work, which shouldn't be too hard given that business is reducing significantly.

Spend more time with my hubbie and walking together enjoying a slower pace of life

I am not learning anything new, nor creating new treatments for my lovely clients. Done all that in the past and as we are happy with the current menu it's not needing any change. ☺️....Bliss!

Why is business dropping? Is it seasonal?

Simple really !
Clients are getting old and some are too sick or are not wanting treatments anymore.
Some died last year and so far another sad death already in 2025. Others have left the area to live closer to younger relatives since the pandemic.
Covid did my business no favours, plus the cost of living and fuel prices means that everyone has tightened their spending habits.

When one starts a business with all ages eventually the decline of numbers occurs naturally. I may gain a new client occasionally but it is often off set by another becoming seriously poorly and then just not up to it. No I can't be bothered to advertise, leafleting etc. Word of mouth has been my only advert.

Remember I have been in the industry for 43 years, self employed for many years now so reducing my hours is fine. I am full of arthritis, head down for 43 years has done me no favours....but I wouldn't change a thing.

I still love my ladies and enjoy my work 100% and I doubt that anyone in their choice of work could say that they could have enjoyed it anymore.
