As the title says.... I know that the treatment has been quite controversial but I know that no one else offers it locally do an thinking of introducing it.
Also for those of you who have trained, was it done as hands on training or through seminars?? Thanks in advance!! X

I am going to say a big fat no ! U can however watch clips on training thro you tube. Some company's have their own training vids on there too.:D it's so easy just time consuming ! Good luck the hardest part is finding the right product to use :D

Thanks for replying! :)

Make sure you are covered on your insurance if you don't have a certificate. Some insurers want certificates for everything xx

For a good hairdresser, just read the instructions and follow them to the letter.

I wasn't going to do the training but I'm so glad I ended up doing it as it saves on the amount of product u use and also for the certificate..use

When I used Beox the distributor came to my home and gave me free training, hands on using a model. I've since swapped to Nov Max and was offered training just last week, but I don't need it now. I was never issued with a certificate, if you do get one I'm sure it would just be from the manufacturers, nothing insurance worthy, but I could be wrong!

Any decent hairdresser can do a Brazilian but I think it still helps to have training.

I've only used it on myself so far, and it's great! Only lasts 2 months but you can use any shampoo x

Oh might order a sample, is it still easy to get body in your hair if wanted or does it make it quite flat ;) xxx

I used to be a technician for a distributing company, my job was to go into salons chat to the manager about the one we distributed and offer to come in and do a free demo, we would get them to organise 2 models normally a member of staff and a client and the demo was a hands on experience for all the staff so they can get to work with the product and feel the results, the salon were under no obligation to take the product on but the product and the results spoke for themselves so there was never any hesitation in them taking it , as isaid it was a free demo, u should look into it,defo worth getting someone in to show u just even to be more confident in using the product, also means if you have any questions you need answered there is someone there to answer any queries and they are also at the other end of a fone

Global Kertian is amazing, I have a client with uncontrollable curls, it will last her 4 to 5 months with the shampoo and conditioner that has the Kertian in it

I have never used global keratin but heard that the stylist and client and also anyone else around have to wear masks is this ok?

False!! They have new improved formula

Ah thats good, i use nanokeratin system, fantastic results.

For the person who started the post, i would only seriously consider using any of these products if u have the patience to do it, it can be a lengthy process and corners really shouldnt be cut, i do the treatment because of the results i can give to my clients and
The difference it makes to them not because its a money making scheme

Thanks for all your replies, it's certainly given me plenty to think about!! If I do decide to go ahead with it I will look for a good training course first x
