Brush cleaning....

OPI brush cleaner is only 1% tea tree oil
85% is Acetone, the other is some other chemical

my bottle says tea tree oil and nothing else; im looking at it. maybe its been changed? i received my bottle in oct in my kit for school in sept or october

I have been taught monomer and its what I will stick too - makes sense.

ditto... if it works why not huh? i used to use a brush cleaner.. waaaaay back when, and my brush sucked.. dry.. and contaminated on me.. since giving it a swish at the end of every day.. no prob at all!

I've always used monomer ,never tried brush cleaner & NEVER acetone. I still have my first brush thanks to that.

I've been told recently that it all depends on your brush...

I still have mine from when I strated (ok, 2 years ago...) that I did use with acetone, and OPI brush cleaner, and monomere. they're still fine... but I have a few and use them according to my mood lol.
