Hi! I currently have no junior but have been advertising to employ one soon. I have been advised that any self employed chair rental hairdressers should not be using his/her services, when I do take one on. I was told that unless the s/e hairdressers list the junior on her own insurance, then they should not be using him/her. I hadn't thought of this before, as in my experience, juniors usually help everyone, but when it was mentioned by another salon owner.....I could see where she was coming from! If the s/e's client has some sort of hair disaster and the junior has taken the colour off, for example then s/e hairdresser could blame junior and salon could be liable for a claim instead of s/e hairdresser. Any advice?
