PEOPLE CHANGING THE TIME OF THEIR APPOINTMENTS AT THE LAST MIN?

Hi all was just wondering what you all do if a client rang you half an hour before her appointment and ask to change the time from 10 to 11? I agreed but it really made me angry as I feel that clients would not do this if they were having their nails done in a salon so why do they think it is ok to do if you are mobile. I feel like they think I have nothing better to do with my day than their nails, if i had had another client after I would have had to say no but as I dont I always feel like I have to fit in with them as i dont want to lose a client but it really does my head in.

Thanks I feel better now lol.x

If it makes you feel any better, it happens in salons all the time too!!!

If it doesn't suit , tell them.
If you had had another client to go to or something else arranged after her 10am appointment then you couldn't have changed it to 11am.

I agree with Izzi, i get it sometimes and if i can do it then its fine and i don't mind...if i cant do it then its tough and i still don't mind.......just say, sorry on this occasion i cant move your apt then they will just have to accept that.

I don't mind them asking on the off chance....

I tell all my clients to ask and if I can I will and if I can't then I wont!! If someone is doing it at every appt then maybe say no one time just so she knows she can't expect you to do it all the time.......

I second everything that has already been said. I'm salon based and if I am able to change the appointment then I will, if I can't then it's tough luck xx
