Charity Event For Barnardos Where to get freebies from!!

Hi all i am involved in a ladies charity event for barnardos. I would love to be able to give away some goody bags to ladies along with some advertising for myself.

Does anyone have any ideas on who to contact to see if they would be willing to give me some sample products??

Also the event is being held in dudley in the west midlands so if anyone would like more information about it or tickets then please PM me.

When i did the safetansummer event last month i decided to have a raffle too so that we could raise a bit more money and give an incentive to people to come along,
i made up a letter with the charity logo and reg number at the top of the page and went around all the local shops, i showed them the letter and asked if they could donate a prize for the raffle and put a poster in their window to advertise the event as well as inviting them along,
this worked really well we got over 40 prizes,
you just have to look professional (uniform) and be confident when you go into the shops hth

Thanks for that. It was more samples etc to put in a goody bag that i was after rather than raffle prizes. Does anyone know the best place to but paper bags from??

Do you run a salon?
If so you can contact your supplier for free products, like mini versions for clients to try, I know Schwarzkopf do them as we've given loads away in the past. Try your supplier like Aston & Fincher too for free samples.

I have a home salon which i have only just set up, I have used ellisons and have emailed them but haven't had a reply. Do you work for schwarzkopf? Would you be able to send me any samples? xx

HI IV JUST BEEN LOOKING ON EBAY, TRY ablopackaging THE EBAY SHOP THEY HAVE REALLY CHEAP PAPER AND GIFT BACKS THAT LOOK STYLISH, YOU CAN ALSO PICK UP SOME SAMPLES ON THERE TOO. X
