How is everyone that is using Chrome powder getting along with it? I am getting wearing away on the ends after just a few days and it's driving me mad! I've tried using gelish structure gel and also tried 2 top coats but nothing is stopping the "wear" on the ends. I really love the look but can't justify this as a service to my clients till I fix this problem?

Just bumping this up but I'm guessing either no one else has the problem or they do and don't have a solution?

I'm having the exact same problem and looking for an answer too.

I used Tiara on myself and it was fine.

I have the problem with certain gel polish colours only so perhaps it is due to the fact that is is highly pigmented perhaps?

I've always experienced free edge wear with pigments, I posted about it many years ago and other then double top coating (which doesn't always work) I never did find a solution so avoided pigments until this chrome craze. Now I just warn clients it will happen but if they want chrome they accept it may happen.

It tends to bother me more than clients, they seem to take it in their stride so I try not to let it bother me too much. A wise tech once told me not to let your clients see your perfectionist traits too much, it sets their expectations unrealistically high and makes them overly critical - I'm coming round to that way of thinking. Since I've stopped pointing out issues on their return visits, they've stopped pointing them out too

Good advice there Trinity!
