How would you go about cleansing out black with red slices and then a box dye over the top which only sent the roots red ( faded now )? She wishes to be lighter .. Colour correction madness :/
 
Bleach bath, then ash brown semi. You will not get blonde from that starting point. Maybe do a head of foils at a later date after some treatments.

Just make sure your client knows she has got to be realistic about what can be done.
 
Thanks.. Yeah I told her there will be no blonde today . Even though there is 3 different colours should I cleanse the whole hair evenly ?
 
I'd say sort of evenly, concentrate on rubbing the darkest areas first xoxo

Bleach bath the darkest area first, and avoid the roots till last. BB with 9% and really scrub the ends, then apply your chosen semi - something with a blue undertone to counteract the orange. :)
