Hi I am having trouble taking the lid of the lamp to change the bulbs. I have seen the video numerous times and still clueless. This is the first time I have tried it so maybe it's got stuck. I don't want to try it again as knowing me I will break it and fork out for a new lamp. Any other ideas . By the way either you need to be built like a body builder or it's quite tough to take off but it can't be that hard to take off surely ?

There is a knack to it, I turn it away from me, with my right hand reach across and over towards the left bottom front of the hole, the use my thumb to push the edge outwards, that releases the pressure and it pops off really easily. I think there is a video on YouTube too, I'll see if I can find it

This isn't my method but it's similar

I have the lamp entrance facing me, and use an orange wood stick inside the hole to push against one side of the cover with a little pressure, and it pops right off :)

I think you just have to be brave, it's stronger than you think

Haha that's very true! I remember way back when I got my first ever lamp... Was sooooo scared to change the bulbs in case I broke something. Took me ages. As it happened, I broke 4 nails getting the blasted thing off, but the lamp was intact and you learn to be a little rough with it [emoji16]
