Any recommended substitutes for: CND foil remover wraps and wipes for top film removal?

Any foil wraps will do, i get mine from eBay, about £16 for 500 (about $20). I wouldn't substitute d:sperce it's part of the recommended system

Cuccio's soak off foam caps are brill. Much better than the foil wraps. Also their conditioning cleanser to remove the tacky layer

I use hairdressers highlighting foil x

I've just started using these and find them quicker to apply and less fiddly but they soak off at the same speed

Thank you. What do you use for top film removal?

D:sperce is CNDs dispersion layer remover. Not sure if you have a different name for it in the States

Ellisons sell highlighting foil already cut into rectangles.

I use soak off nail clips with a small peice of cotton wool soaked in acetone / remover , 1 ball usually does all 10 nails (not lint free wipes) and I loveeeeee them! I've used all brands of foils, the NSI easy soak nail bath etc .... but for me the clips work the best and they are cheap as chips! I have a couple of sets and just got some for toes ☺️ I recently removed some MMA nails using them and they worked like a charm.

We don't have dsperce in North America. We use 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove the inhibition layer.

I have those but didn't find they fitted correctly/tight enough. I'll try them again

Thanks. Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. What lint free wipes do you like best?!

Thank you all ladies, SO helpful.:)

Oh that's sucky :( I've not had any probs so far with them and mine have a really strong grip, I put the soaked cotton wool inside them first then put on the finger tight. have you seen the new steam removal from the gel bottle? I'm soooo tempted

I use 2x2 square guaze. I find these are the best for lint free wipes

I don't use 'lint free' for sticky layer removal, no need, you only need 'lint free' before application to ensure theres no fuzzy bits on the surface of the nail. On final wipe theres no risks so i use cheapy cotton wool discs from Aldi/supermarket. Their two pack of 100 (?) pads is about 70p. Similar pads in the wholesalers are about £1.50.
