Oh that's sucky :( I've not had any probs so far with them and mine have a really strong grip, I put the soaked cotton wool inside them first then put on the finger tight. have you seen the new steam removal from the gel bottle? I'm soooo tempted

Gel2 have had a steam remover out for about a year, theres mixed reviews and I've seen them for sale on some second hand sales sites si I'm not convinced. It doesn't bring down the time, its 10 minutes whether you wrap or steam.

When you think about it, it would be longer unless you buy 2 steam removers, think I'm decided not to invest :)

I must admit I didn't watch the video, but I see now it's one hand a a time, the Gel2 one takes both hands at the same time, so yes that one will double your removal time. Although I suppose you could argue the second hand can be steaming whilst you remove any debris from the first hand, but if it's that great I would expect there to be no debris

They recommend that you keep the hand in while you remove the debris off each finger then move on to the next. Typical me I see a new gadget and want it without thinking about it lol, thank goodness I thought about it this time and we have Trinity in our lives ❤️

Wahhhhh!!! Most people feel quite the opposite :p;)

D:sperce is CNDs dispersion layer remover. Not sure if you have a different name for it in the States
I thought that D:Sperse was an s2 product, rather than CND?

It doesn't matter, does exactly the same job, but if it were CND they'd probably have it in the states rather than using the 99% isopropyl alcohol?

Any cotton/foil combination will work, btw. And pad soaked with nourishing remover.

I would be interested in trying the clips, but I have a tonne of wraps to go through first!

I think it was created by S2 with CND specifically for the UK market as we don't (or certainly didn't when Shellac first hit the UK) have IPA as freely available as they do in the States. I think IPA over there is as common as household bleach here, but was much harder to source over here.

Ah, thank you for that.

Yes, I don't think I'd ever heard of it before. Although I do know in a pinch that vodka will work, or cool blue.
