I only got 12 colors to start with, but one of them was "Turkish delight" and it looks perfect for my more mature ladies. Its kind of like a dusky pink, but not dull, if that makes sense ☺

Yes I would if said Turkish Delight which is indeed a dusky pink with a bluey/gold shimmer to it. For a softer pink, more nude I'd use Texas Rose but three coats for full coverage.

Thanks ladies, I'll take a trip to the wholesalers on their next Vat free day!

I find that certain colours shrink from the free edge more than others. I now do super thin costs and go over very quickly before curing. I adore veneer - I advise getting brooklyn never sleeps - beautiful deep shiny purple - my clients love it!

Just had email exchange with Sara and she has confirmed that neon and new veneer colours will be released but can't give details - watch this space!! EXCITED

I also asked if 'best night ever' range will be released in veneer and she said no. However, brill news - the standard polish can be mixed with veneer top coat and used! I've mixed top coat with glitter to add some bling yo colours but this is great. I've added glitter by putting blob of top coat on foil and added the glitter - then applies with a gel brush, cure then I personally do another really thin layer of top coat. Will have a play with mixing the varnish.:)

I've been waiting for reviews for this polish, so it's great to hear that it's so popular!
Would you recommend getting the veneer kit to start off with? For the kit & lamp it's priced at about £168 including VAT.
I've not used gel before

I dont think you should put prices on here hun, but Ive been looking into it and worked out its much better value to get the bogof matchmakers and then buy the lamp separate if you're ok with the mini led lamp. I actually prefer the idea of a smaller lamp, shame theres no timer but I can live without one.

Think you ladies have made my mind up that Cuccio would be the best long term investment. just trying to decide colours now...
if anyone has any photos that'd be ace!

Im doing a mammoth colour pop session when the husband gets home, if you can hang on for a couple of hours I'll post the ones I have in polish :)

here my list of what I think I might go for

Hollywood 2 am for my black
Verona Lace for my white
Pink either - heart and seoul or kyoto cherry blossom?!
Red - Maine Lobster
Green - Mint Condition
Blue - On the Nile
Purple - Brooklyn never sleeps
Nude/ pink - Left my heart in san francisco
Orange - Sharkin my morocco
Pastel Blue - Under a blue moon

think thats ok to start off? I dont want to go to wild and I dont know what will be popular yet so im trying to get my bases covered. i might get megamix too so I can just make any colours I dont have in gel already.

I really struggled choosing my starter colors. The lovelies here gave me a list of their personal favs/best sellers which narrowed my choice down.

I then rang cuccio and the lady was really helpful, she suggested which colors she thought would suit my clientele, and they matched those that had been suggested by happy feet.

They have 2 for 1 on their matchmaker kits at the moment, so I would def give them a call. My order was with me in less than 24 hours, and customer service was possibly the best I have ever received x
