Hi everyone!

I am completely new to the nail industry, and wanted some advice.

I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly with regards to disinfecting my tools as I know how important hygiene is.

I have purchased some bits from the Mundo range and when I'm mobile I plan on using the hard surface disinfectant spray followed by the wipes to dry them off for in between clients and when home I will soak the tools in the power plus liquid, wash then dry with couch roll. The tools will then be stored and resprayed and wiped before I use again. Does this sound ok?

Also, if I'm working from home do I need to rinse my tools before putting in to the power plus liquid? How do you store your made up solution so it lasts the 5 days?

I know it's probably obvious but I want to get it right!

I really appreciate your help, thank you so much.

I'm not mobile but when washing tools I pre wash them with anti bac dish soap with a scrubbing brush, dry them and then leave them to soak in mundo in a sanitising box that has a little tray that lifts out of the solution when the box is opened. I leave them for about 10 minutes and allow to dry. I change the soliton every couple of days but I believe it says 5 days on the bottle x

Thanks Felicity, I was thinking about getting one of those boxes as they looked handy.

Really appreciate your advice x

I used to use the barbicide jars but I much prefer the boxes, everything's hidden so looks smarter. Defo recommend getting one. X

Yes that's what I thought. Do you rinse before and after then air dry or dry with your couch roll?

Question after question!

I rinse before when washing with the soap and I air dry afterwards but I have a lot of spare tools. If I needed to use one right away I would use couch roll x
