Do I or Don't I... concerned possible spray tanner

thank you for your sums much much much appreciated. Do you have a link for your ebay disposables pack pls? sounds v good! Also when you calculated your sums for yu solution did you include your VAT at 20%. Ive done a few more sums funnily based on what you charge (looking at Suntana) and i pretty much get to the same as you but this bloomin 20% VAT is taking it down further... as i know it will lol!

Sorry to jump in on your conversation, but wanted to say thanks for this thread as I too am an extremely new newbie!

It really is a mine field out there finding out all the information, and like you I can't wait to get going, my training is booked for mid Feb, and now I'm worried I've chosen the wrong course, choose it cos I read up about being insured and I know I can insurance with these peeps, but it seems soo cheap, just hope I haven't made my first blunder, well second actually cos I've brought a spray compressor without even holding or using one! lol

To the original poster...Sorry no good with names, memorys not like it used to be lol, but how's things going? not sure when this thread was made, so hopefully your on the go now?

you jump in all you want honey! we all need help )) ive not even started my spray tan training yet but wont be too long. ive been number crunching and getting as much info as poss from the fab guys and gals on the this site! just had a weekend away and i must say couldnt wait to get on here this morning to read up on what been going on over the weekend lol! everyone has been extremely helpful. good luck for feb hun youll be on here soon telling everyone how much you love it and well you been doing!

I was seeing kit for ages. I kept looking at it when it arrived and thank goodness thought not to put the tent up as I'd seen my friend put hers down loads,but could see there was a knack. Did make me smile at the thought though.
Just as a thought,is a dealer the best place to sell a car? Might get more private if you're fixing it up.
Really chuffed you've made a decision on your kit. I really like the maximist. It packs up so neat and you get a nice lot of cups with it so you don't need to empty them back into your bottles. Be sure to keep a little mark on the bottom of each one if you do,so you know which lotion is which in them.

lol still tickles me that tanning tent lol!
if i can get a private sale then fab but we're gonna try the dealers i just want shot of it now (lovely car just costing us too much and not getting enough use.... ill never have such a great car again but heyho where one door closes another one opens.... aka save some penny's each month, get to retrain in spray tan and nails and still have a little left over to help for a rainy day so alls good!!)

Thank you for the reply hun. Is always great to hear of recommendations. Ive not bought my kit yet or even trainined as yet (not long tho yay!). I will have a lil look at their website too. I would love some samples but have nothing to spray with atm lol but Ill be sure to get some in the future. Ive decided to train with Wow factor as heard lots of fab things about their training and its one to one... im getting old and the old mind aint what it used to be lol. I spoke to the trainer last week and she was so lovely and encouraging and made me not feel like a fool.... im a bit cackhanded at times lol wasnt blessed with much grace.

right im off to google OMG. Thanks hun! xxxxx

PS lol at the ten comment... i do go camping but often watch the other half do it whilst i pump up the blow up beds.... mmmmm cant really take him along the treatments now can i lol! xxx

I've literally just been on the OMG site, Betsy, lass who deals with tanning is on break til 12.30..thought I'd share that in case you wanted to call them! Ooo scrap that just checked the time! doh!

Does anyone have any idea if after care goods actually sell well? Or are peeps just interested in just getting the tan done?

Well I'm even more excited as I've just about finished my business plan,yay! I was really stressing over it, just a few tweeks here and there then it's off to see the business advisor in a couple of days. I've got visions of him laughing and saying...you call this a business plan?!

Sorry to barge in...
i realy need help with this, there seeems soo many options for tanning i need to learn how to do it! I onli qualified in nails a year ago.. bulilding up my clients for that has been hard but im quite secure now. Most of my clients have spray tans... this leads me to think.. why should i let them go to another salon else where? come to me for it! soo spray tann training.. nouvatan.. iv heard good things about them.. but im still unsure.. OMG tan sounds to good to be true! haha when i start i want to get some of those samples! who did u train with bettsy? .. im not reali bothered about price i just want good quality training and products!

any help is much appreicated!

Just to add that OMG are brilliant at sending out samples, I recieved mine next day delivery, and the package was more than I expected!!!

we do have spray tan training courses in Bolton, Thats where OMG are based! Its a half a day course and you get a full tanning kit with absolutly everything you need including OMG tan solution! The tution is really thorough and informative, you get 2-3 models to learn on too which is brilliant.

They sell all there equipment really cheap aswell!

Fab news heidi! When's your training date? I've rebooked mine with another another place cos I couldn't wait any longer lol, but at least if I need any more training I've still got my original booking with Bliss (£30.00!)
