I soaked off a set of MMA's in about 40 mins, I had thinned them though as I had infilled a week before.
EMA nails took about 20 mins.

i won one at manchester comp and i think its great! thank you!

I'm not sure that we're allowed to put the prices on here but if you search for 'Easy soak' in google or have a look on the NSI website the prices are there.

The soak off bowl is one way.

Another is where you can fill a glass bowl with acetone and soak the hand/nails - there can be a lot of vapors this way and acetone will also be on other skin, not just the nails which could cause dryness.
I used to warm this bowl in a larger bowl of hot water to help speed up the process - this meant more vapors though, the hands can be covered with a towel though to reduce this.

You can soak cotton pads in acetone, place the cotton pads over the nail and wrap in small bits of tin foil. The hands can then be placed in heated mits or under a towel to speed it up. This is good for reducing vapors and is quite quick.

There are also little finger pots which you fill up with acetone and put over the finger but I found this to be rubbish!

I have to say I have used my easy soak quite alot and I love it, its more than paid for itself and saved loads of time. I used it for a hot oil mani the other week which turned out great.

Thank I will have a look.

That's great I will try them out and see which i prefer :)

I think I might have to have a shopette and buy one of these!

Can any of you nail techs that use this method to soak off tell me if you put anything on the surrounding skin or fingers to protect them from the acetone when you use this soak off method and if so what?

I am recently qualified in gel (Bio Sculpture in November) but only nno and repairs, not extensions yet, and we were taught to use foil, but I have to say when I am trying to soak my own off I don't find it that easy and it takes me for ever. This sound a lot easier to do on myself but I suffer from exzema. Thanks xx

Im interested in getting the easy soak nail bath but Im based in New Zealand, can anyone help me out with trying to get a hold of one??

For anyone in the US wanting one of these new bowls, I have imported them and ship from my online store
Shop LuvNailz

With the new Gelish and Shellac, Most find the product slides off the nail if dipped as opposed to using the cotton ball method - that makes this system perfect for that sort of removal.

I used to have Quick Soak bowls and now have the Easy Soak.

In my experience the Quick Soak bowls do tend to leak water from the fill hole even when tightly done up which is why I had two over the years.

I think I have had my Easy Soak for about two years now and like it.

The Easy Soak:
a) looks far more professional
b) uses approximately half the amount of acetone of the Quick Soak so will save money in the long run
c) is somehow quicker
d) more comfortable for the client

I really don't think it is that expensive as a piece of salon equipment. God knows we are used to being charged high prices for apparent "specialist equipment" that often is a small adaptation of a cheap product.

The only thing to be careful of when using the Easy Soak is not to carry it one handed with your thumb on the lid. The lid pings off and you drop the whole thing!

Hi all,

I agree the soak off bowl is much more professional and seems to speed the removal of acrylics..

Only thing I find awkward is once you have completed the soak off... I have to use loads of kitchen roll to soak up acetone by putting in each hole to soak acetone up...
