Hi
I set up a laser hair removal business in march, ive recently added microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and eyelash lift to my skill set

I've had steady months and have been really happy with the direction my business is heading but I feel like I've hit a bit of a brick wall.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to maximise my Facebook posts etc?
I have a business instagram but I tend to get a better evasion from FB

Any ideas are welcome

Thanks :)

The truth is Facebooks organic (non-paid) reach is dead. There is too much content out there that the only way to capitalise on this is to pay for ads.

This shouldn't deter you though because it is one of the cheapest forms of advertising you can do. It takes a while to get right and it's a bit of trial and error. I recommend posting 3-4 times a week spread evenly across 7 days. The adverts you want to run you want to show 1great picture of a treatment that's been carried out and target people within say 10/15 miles of your location. That's a good starting point. People want to see the results/end product.

I hope that helps :)

I put out free tips and tricks on my facebook if you want to keep an eye out - https://facebook.com/ukpenguinmedia

Thank you for your reply! :)

Hey Zoe,

So the biggest thing is understanding where the underpriced attention is and buy ad space there while its cheap. If no other business of your type in your marketplace is doing this then you are at a huge advantage.

as I mentioned in another thread somewhere...

Here are some things you want to make sure you got covered.

1. Verify your facebook page, do this from the settings tab
2. Download the Pages Manager app to monitor your inbox
3. Train your staff to have inbox open at all time to handle incoming appointment requests
4. Do not boost posts, if you are going to run any sort of advertising (which I highly encourage) you need to get in contact with an experienced salon marketing professional who knows how to work social media ads.
5. Share content from the Brands of the products you sell. Follow their pages, they have already spent the marketing dollars to produce content your clients will love.
6. Use emojis but don't over do it

Now for the more ADVANCED stuff:

1. Create a Facebook BUsiness Manager account that way you can assign assets to certain people and manage your ad accounts as well as execute highly targeted advertising campaigns that scale.
2. Install a Facebook retargeting pixel on your website if you have one
3. Use new Facebook Chatbots to automatically book appointments and engage with people who inquire about your services on Facebook.

It can be overwhelming although highly lucrative, let me know if you have any questions, my dear! :)
