I put mine in a small container with a screw on lid. So far, so good! :)

I notice in the Scratch magazine this month on smile lines they have a brush from Bio Sculpture (Deluxe French application gel brush size 4), +++++ VAT. I also saw this on ebay but I will not pay 3 times the price from any seller. Take a look at www.lightelegance.co.uk/index.php?pag=products&offset=8&cid=67]Nails International - GEL BRUSHES[/url], hth, I should receive mine tomorrow so I will let you all knew if it is any good. Reasonable price too.

Wot should i aim for? Pics before / after are in my album would love to know if it looks ok and any suggestions welcome? Thanks so much

I brought the Gel brush with finger grip, that is just an extra brush just in case I loose my other one. I had a Creative flat brush shorter handle which lasted me for yrs but it went walk about a few weeks a go (not a happy bunny) but the one's I use was TILTED HEAD/SMILE LINE BRUSH size 4 and the SMILE LINE BRUSH just for tiding up any mistake which I only did two fingers.Hth

Emma,
was it a soak off gel you use the reason I ask is when you decide to purchase Shellac or Gelish you will see and feel the difference. Both of these product are applied like polish and perform like gel which only take me 30mins to do a set, 45 a re- shellac. Not try Gelish yet but looking forward to trying this tomorrow when my order comes. I am just curious, either way I knew it will not be a waste of money because I want to give my client the choice. When I use self-levelling builder gels it take me 1hr 3mins. don't worry about your timing, the more sets of nails you do the faster you get. My first set took me 4 hrs and to this day I can't believe my mother in-law did not kill me and she sat so still (she is a fidget bum) LOL

Hi,

I've just done my first French Shellac customer and it was pure horror to get a beautiful and covering white. It seemed the shellac was to thick for "painting" a thin french line...
So i came to look for help in this blog and saw this picture (with special brush from Bourjois) and i thought: hey, i have this polish and never really used it, so i went searching for it (and found it in my bathroom-closet). I've just tried it and it seems to be amazing! much better as the shellac-brush!!! :green:
(Sorry if my english is not good, i'm from Belgium)

Hi, I've got a bottle of the bourjois????( not sure of the spelling lol) with the slanted brush and was wondering if there is a way to empty the bottle and clean the brush so that I can decant some of my hyper White gel into it?? Would this work? Don't want to try it and ruin my gel as it would be a costly mistake to make!
Many thanks

That Nailzoo video is good, thanks for posting. My problem is with nails like the girl who is doing the polish! When there is nearly no white, I find it hard

Thank you very much for sharing that video with us Deanosnana, think I must try and find myself a brush like that, she really does make it look easy with a bit of practice of course!

TRY EBAY :)

-if the sller is in Hong Kong be prepared to wait a couple weeks, but UK based will take only a couple of days

Hey there... I had a client who came here for a shellac mani and she said she was on the net trying to find ways to do a good french smile line, and was directed here on this forum and by coincidence, she found this Video. She told me about it and was surprised that it was posted around. So here I am, saying "hey there". I am glad it helped some of you, as it helped me :)

And to answer Endless' question: Yes, it is a real diamond. :)

Lovely to see you at SG Amethyste:)

You have done a great video and you seem to have such a gentle nature about you through out the video.
Well done on helping so many people with the age old problem of getting a crisp smile line.

Oh *blush*, thank you so much! That is really kind of you to say. I have struggled so much with that myself!

Believe it or not, the idea came to my mind when I was flipping through cable channels one night and stopped on an episode of the painter "Bob Ross" who was painting "Happy Trees". I watched him in awe and then started to realize that he pretty much had a different brush for almost anything he was painting: a different brush for the sky, the trunk of trees, leaves, grass... Then it came to mind that we were not given the right brush in standard polish bottles to create our smile lines...

So I went to my craft drawer and started to look at the craft brushes I had and my eyes stopped on this angled brush and said.... Hmmmm... Let's try it! and to my surprise, it worked 75% better on the first shot than any other straight brush that are out there... So I started practicing more and more and my clients gre happier and happier :) I've been using this technique for about 10 years now after struggling for 5.

I am so happy this video helped some people. I never thought it would end up here in this wonderful community! thank you so much for the warm welcome. :)
