Gel or L&P which do you prefer?

I assume that was for me to answer??
Adele pretty much answered for me in her post. Clients do not realise that gel contains the same as L&P and they get a lot of stories from salons trying to promote gel, for whatever reason, about it being kinder to your nails and more natural etc.

Its probarly because those particular salons do gel and they are obviously not going to want to promote something they dont do

well i guess its just a matter of opinion really as to which people prefer maybe these people had just heard it from ppl who dont like l and p.

Think ill just stick with gel i think the smell of acrylic would be a nightmare in my small salon!! lol

You would be amazed at how many of my clients inhale deeply when they can smell the momomer and say "Ah! That's the smell I love" lol

Do them ALL as has already been said. Be prepared for EVERY eventuality.
Most clients, after hearing the gel bull**** end up with L&P.
I've no probs with gel its a nice system to work with but am very CROSS at the way gel is marketed atm.

Both. Some clients have better results with gel or vice versa.
It can depend on lifestyle ie if someone does a lot of swimming maybe?
The more services you offer the better for you hun.

would you say if someone does alot of swimming for example that acrylic would be better? i would i think! i used to have acrylic nails all the time but now just do my own wiv gel but in some ways did fing acrylic stronger i must say!

I'm trained in all aspects of artificial nail enhancements. L&P, Gel, fibreglass, silk, and sculpting this way like some of the other geeks said I am ready for clients asking for anything, my prefered method is L & P though mainly because its quicker and you can do so so much with L&P.
