Gel polish and acrylic on under 16s

My insurance will cover me to do these treatmemts on under 16s but i wanted to get the opinion of other nail techs on weather this is okay or not?
By under 16 i mean like 12 and up possible

I will do gel polish on 14+ with written parental consent. I won't do acrylic or hard gel extensions.

As a one off as a favour to a close friend and her 15 year old daughter I did tip and fibreglass extensions, quite short though, for a family wedding.

Although saying that at 12+ I was buying those horrible stick on nails and probably did more damage!

If your insurance covers it then it's purely down to personal choice so entirely up to you.
