Hi Guys! I am new to Salongeek as I have recently qualified as a nail tech and am building up my kit ready to be a mobile Nail Technician. I am a little overwhelmed with the choice of gel polishes on the market-how do I choose the best. Bear in mind that I am starting out and don't want to spend a fortune to get a good range of colours and glitters etc, but don't want to make the mistake of buying a cheaper range that is not a problem product. Any advice would really be appreciated! Thanks x

Hi I am newly qualified and just starting my own business from home . I wasted a lot of money on different brand products , even went down the route of Bluesky because it was cheaper . But I can honestly say that Gelish works for me and clients a lot better lasting 2-3weeks .Also buying cheaper lamps because of cost saving but I learnt my lesson a big way as I wasted a lot of money and even lost a couple of clients . So my Advice would be get a good brand gel polish and buy the lamp that is compatible with you're chosen brand . I know it is pricey but it's worth it . Fingers crossed my clients that I lost will come back now they know I am using Gelish. Good luck

I used too use artistic colour gloss and have just converted too cuccio they are lovely too use not expensive at all and fab colour with matching nail lacquers too. Xxxx
