Hi ladies

I'm new to all this and just looking for some advice please. I'm currently looking into doing a gelish course (due to having 2 Small children and my current job is no longer convenient with childcare etc) I have enquired with the training privider and been told the training costs around £100.

When looking at prices of kits I was quite shocked to see the Deluxe package is around £600, just wondering is this what everyone else paid? Is it a just to have the Gelish lamp or will any lamp do the job?

I'm now debating whether I'll be able to get enough clients to make back the money and earn a living? Xx

I have spent over $16000 Cad on my courses alone. Good training costs money. Yes, you need the proper lamp.

Think I spent just under £1,000 on my ProHesion Acrylic & Gelish course and this was with both kits provided. Saying that though, you don't get things such as metal tools included so I had to purchase these additionally. Xx

I spent £70 for my course but it was only 3 and a half hours.. I wish I paid more to get more of an experience and to learn more about the nails etc. There are some websites where you can buy a starter pack, so you can get the lamp, base and top coat, files and some colours which I think is the best way to do it as you are near set up then to start doing nails :)
