Hi I am a newly qualified nail technician and I have started to build up clients . But I need some advice a clients had a Gelish manicure and on her left hand lasted two weeks but her right hand lasted 8 days . She is right handed and uses this hand a lot for example putting face cream on, sun cream . She says she wears gloves to wash up with . Am I right in thinking that her Gelish hasn't lasted long on right hand because it's her main hand and should wear gloves at all times . I did mention this in her after care . My prep must be OK as her left hand Gelish polish looks lovely no chips . Thank you for you're advice in advance

Yes you are absolutely right, if the left hand is perfect then it can't be your application it must be her aftercare.

There are two schools of thought about this......either dominant hand takes a battering as it's used for everything or.....non-dominant hand suffers as one tends to be clumsier with that hand. As a tech it will drive you crazy :p

Thank you for your reply , you learn this all in your training but once you are qualified and going on your own you start to doubt yourself. X
