Gelish top and base coat

Hi everyone Has anyone used Gelish top and base coat with Orly fx gel polish .

Yes I usually do as I am trained in Orly fx but looking to do a course in Gelish and a few people mentioned that Gelish base and top coat is OK to use with other brands . Just looking at cost Hun x

Gelish promote that their base and top coat can be used with all systems.. However some insurers don't like the mix and match, and so you may invalidate your insurance if you're not using a complete nail system that you've been trained with.
The only systems I've heard of not being compatible are CND Shellac with everything else, as the gel they produce needs a slightly different range of UV spectrum light to cure than everything else on the market.

Ok thank you for replying. X I have just got so many nice colours in Orly fx but I don't like there base coat / primer / or top coat I prefere Gelish .

I have used the Gelish base coat and top coat with loads of brands including Shellac and it's fine...never had any problems x
