Hi geeks,
I'm looking at doing a hair exstensions course, I have no experience in hair exstensions but would really like to train, I live in the south west, I've been looking at balmain course that a local wholesalers run, but would like some advice and information on the balmain course or other courses/brands?
Thanku x

I did the Balmain one at my local Wholesalers, it was fine, only downside is you use a dummy head. I've done some others with another company and to be honest they're all much the muchness and as you're already a hairdresser you'll know most things already. Balmain one is good to learn about a good branded product. Hthx

Thanku for answering....its just so confusing with looking through
N seeing so many different brands I think I'm going to have a look around (save some pennies!!!) then choose and thanku I will have a look at ur website now :) xxx

There are so many on the market. Firstly make sure the training course is approved by Habia as there are so many fly by night technicians who are just passing on their skills and calling this training!! to get as much out of an intensive training as possible, make sure you do your research on the company, exactly what they train you in ( i'd suggest no more than 2 methods to begin with) as you would then be able to expand your skills and methods at a later day. My advice would be not to just go with the cheapest - this usually suggests something is lacking!! There are loads of training threads on here so have a good look around, ring each company and see who you get a feel for. I will always champion Lush-Us Uk's trainin(they're who i trained with). They're the only VTCT approved hair extension company in England which I think is fab!!!! Good Luck
