hey everyone need some advice i have been doing hair extensions for over 3 years now and always used keritin bonds in pre tips and lose hair, but i have heard of other bonds being used that are softer and meant to be better for the hair, i have seen a girl that has had them done and they look softer and to honest a lot nicer can anyone tell me what it is and were i can get it from ? i have paid out £1000s to train and totally missed out on this one lol xx

Hi. Is it nail tipped hair you're using? If the hair is pre bonded it really shouldn't shed much at all. For smaller bonds have you tried cutting the nail tip down? If you leave slightly more than half of the tip this will still be plenty for a secure bond but makes them so much smaller and neater. x

Do you mean bonds that are formed directly onto the hair? without the need for pre-tipping or mico rings?
Could well be the raccoon method you are talking about. Trichologists agree that the raccoon method is kindest to the hair out of all the methods.
It is a bit more skilled than the ring methods though, and they will only train qualified hairdressers.

Yes sorry I was very unclear here I find Kertrin bonds very hard , the likes of rocoon great lengths etc are so much softer, can anyone tell me what the name of the bond is that is used or where I can buy it from thanks
