Hair extensions colour match help

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me. I am fitting hair extensions into a ladys hair next week and she has really dark hair under very blonde highlighted hair. When I am doing the underneath what ratio to blonde to dark hair would anyone use?

If the client is happy with the two tone look, I would colour match to the both lots of colurs ( as though the're seperate heads) and place the bonds accordingly. Does that make sense?

Match the dark part with darker extensions and the top with lighter , try to choose exactly same colors as her natural hair for the best look, unless she asked you to use some lighter shades for her darker hair.
