I have had 2 sets of Racoon Hair extensions fitted over the past year and am extremely unhappy with them (wiry/matting) also at £900+ are too expensive. I need any advice to which hair to buy moving forward and also someone to fit them in the Milton Keynes area????

That is expensive! Racoon usually provide descent hair though. How were they applied?

I would complain to your extensionist . The beauty of Racoon hair is you can send the hair back and they will test it to see what has gone wrong.

Also do you know whether it was standard , everyday or euro hair from racoon they fitted? As the price it should definately be the euro hair.

I've had the same problem twice now from two different extensionists! I think its due to my shampoo, i was advised from the first girl to use L'Oreal Elvive Argon Oil (yellow/ brown bottle) however it contains sulfate - which strips hair extensions! Also I wondered if it could be my GHDs as there about 10years old!

Sorry really not sure but i'll keep an eye on this thread!

Lolli x

Are these wefts or bonds by racoon?

from Debbie's HTC Sense

I know that saks in mk (in the David Lloyd gym) do hair extensions, but theyre racoon..

Also if you google it, theres a mobile extension service called "bond hair" or something? I've contacted the lady before to enquire about buying the hair first and asking if she could fit them and she said she can do that :)

Hope you get it sorted

Xx

*Forgot to add, when I emailed her before she advised me on what hair to buy ect.

Ever thought of great lengths there what a lot of salons do now and on there website shoes were the nearest salon does them. I've had them numerous times and I loved them x

Sent from my HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio X315e using SalonGeek

I had them fitted in Saks (David Lloyd) they were fitted amazingly but the actual hair was extremely disappointing.

Thanks for the info though.

Then definately go back . Racoon Euro hair should NOT be like that. Give them the chance to fix this for you .

fully agree - Racoon Euro shouldn't be going wirey or matting up with the correct care! I would go back and show the extensionist the problem, and give them a chance to sort it. I have heard that the everyday hair is pretty bad for matting/fluffing up, but at the price you have paid it should be Euro xxx

I do hair extensions and the hair i use is amazing, i can also travel to MK if you are wanting them fitted at home x
