This is the first time I have attempted pre pigment and looks as I failed!!

Friends hair base 6/7 1" regrowth with 3 inch 10/3 and bleach blonde on ends, (not my work, sounds as mine was worse!!!!!)

Ok, prepig black blonde with 15ml 0/33 with 60ml of warm water. Left for 15 mins. Rinsed has she wanted a cool tone afterwards. Her target colour was 8/1.

Applied 8/1 with 9% on regrowth, developed for 20 mins
Applied ct 8/0 15ml, 7/03 15ml with 7.5ml 7/1. 75ml 1.9%. Developed 20 mins, shampoo once and applied treatment.
Dried and checked in day light out side and there was no green tinge! Was a cool tone very much has target colour.

Where did I go wrong? Should I have applied 30ml of 0/33 instead of 15ml or should I have used /43? Used /33 as thought that gold was underlying tone?

Know I should not have applied 7/1 but wella said that would be ok if it was 2 to 1 ratio. But obviously not in this case!! Should applied 7/73 to
Ends?

Anyway my friends training and at college they bleached bathed it?? Applied foils bleach and not sure what else has she was vague? She says they did this has it was bright green? But why would it be bright green after one wash? And could they have not just post pigged her hair and applied another colour touch with a warm tone?

Anyhow please advise me where I went wrong!!!! Don't want to do this again specially on a paying client!!

Because I used some 7/1 and pre pig with gold is this where the green could have merged from?? And when she washed her hair it showed up?? Learnt me a lesson no 7/1 when pre pigging.

If a cool tone is required what do you do??

i use tigi and we dont rinse our pre pig off, we develop, blot off excess and dry it in till its tacky and then reapply desired shade over the top and develop. mabye the tone from pre piggin wasnt enuff after it was rinsed? x

When I was rinsing it I thought that it didn't really need it doing? I only rinsed has I read somewhere on here, if a cool tone is required rinse! But won't do this in future will just blot like you said! was correct to use /033?

To much neutral pigment, because you used 8/0 and 7/03 so the green base has been sucked in and leaves the gold to reflect on the outside, wash it and gold is gone leaving green :( and /43 nights have been better and I never aim for ash for going from blonde I tell them first colour will be warm then 4-6 weeks later can do ash c

Thanks blue, /43 next time. Will also choose a warmer colour too. Lesson learned here. Even though I did a strand test looked fine, but has you said the tone washed away!!!!!!!

If you was to correct the green tinge what would you have to do? Post pig with a a /45 now as it has a tinge of green and then apply a warm shade.
