Has anyone got handepay as their card machine provider. Can I have feedback on them please.
I need a card machine and not one of them blue tooth ones as I'm not always there for people to pay on my mobile phone. I have quotes off a few but handepay seem the better deal but I don't want to get myself into something I'll regret

I got one from Barclaycard, it is Bluetooth so I leave my iPad in the shop when I'm not there so that the staff can still take payments. I have the app on my phone and iPad and can check whenever I want if I have wifi. The good thing is that I have no contract with them, it was a one off payment of £60+VAT. Then I pay a small percentage of what payments go through the card reader. So no payments if I don't use the card machine. And can stop using it any time I want without being in a contract. Hope this helps. X

It all depends what you're putting through your machine each month. I was with handepay for years but moved last November to FDMS with a cool Clover card machine. It's a four year contract, but they have halved my handepay charges.

Do a little maths. As a rough guide, if you're taking £1000 pm plus, a monthly rental machine with charges, works out cheaper than the £50 up front costs then 2% per transaction charge (or similar. Some are 2.75% [emoji85])

I have just moved from worldpay to handepay as they can save me about 25% a year and will cover my transfer fees. I do wonder if I will see any difference and then when I cancelled worldpay they said they would have matched handepay so hope I haven't made a mistake!
