*Making fairy cakes with my daughters. Seeing their excited faces when mixing the ingredients together & when they were watching the cakes in the oven.

*The girls excitement at being able to open a door tomorrow on their Advent calender

Meeting your ex next door neighbour as a teen and finding he was too shy to say anything about him fancying you... when you had a crush on him.

Climbing into a hot, candlelit bubble bath, with a glass of red and something from the 80's on my portable cd player. And then into fresh bed linen from the washing line.

And hearing my kids laughing - you know, the REAL belly laughs - brings a tear to my eye every time!

• Kissing and hugging my girls for no apparent reason
• My girls kissing and hubby me, spontaneously for no apparent reason
• Hubby doing same LOL
• Cuddling with all of the above
• Cuddling with dog and/or cat on sofa with a good book to read
• The feeling you get when you do something nice for someone 'just because'
• Hubby telling me I'm sexy when I have rollers in my hair AND HE MEANS IT
• Hubby telling me I'm sexiest in the mornings when last night's mascara that I never got to remove is smudged and I have bed head.
• Happiness is Humbugs and thinking about my Nana
• Happiness was getting married on our 10yr anniversary and we love each other more than ever.
• It's when my daughter's do something for the very first time and they're pleased with their accomplishment
• It was the first time I heard my eldest sing on stage and realized she COULD SING WELL.. in front of a hall full of people who were stunned and appreciative of her talent.
• Happiness is checking girls in the middle of the night and tucking them in, and saying "I love you" softly in their ears, and they murmur and mumble sleepily "I love you too".
• Happiness is friends saying hi and enquiring how I am.
• Happiness is making my friends smile on a rainy day.
• Happiness is sharing my thoughts here on Geek, and I know that no matter how random that people are interested and care enough to read them.
• Happiness is having so many friends, that can get married without going broke because they love you and helped to make your day special and SHARING that day with them.
