Well he was still snoring when I left this morning so not even a hello.:green: We've decided not to get cards and pressies this year, as we have an expensive couple of weeks coming up.

I'm going to cook a nice dinner (don't know what yet!) and then he'll probably watch the Tottenham game.:irked:

He lost his wedding ring last week, so it's not turning in to the most romantic of days.

My friend just told me she got a card from her youngest son (aged 8) with a £10 note in it! He'd written, "bet you don't get a card from Connor" (his older brother) in it. pmsl:lol::lol::lol:

Well for the first time in 8 years I got a pressie from my hubby, I got a 'Hot Diamonds' necklace, bracelet and 3 charms for them. I was so happy.

He is working late tonight, so I got up at the crack of dawn and cooked us all a cooked breakfast, the kids were all so excited :lol:

Well in 23 years I have got 2 valentines day gifts and they were from when we were young still lol So imaigne my shock this morning to open the door to a massive box being presented to me Inside were 12 beautiful red roses and a card saying who says romance is dead I am so chuffed

Well are you ready? Stuart works and lives away 4 days a week but last two weeks he has worked from home Thursday too. He came home for a school meeting yesterday and declared he was going back and working today. Gutted as for the first time in 15 years since we met I had money and ability to buy him something, had ordered a card from Moonpig and it was all to arrive today, and he wouldn't be here!! :cry: Get up this morning and my 11yr old dissolves in tears because Daddy wont be here tonight to help with a school project so he stays!! Boss then tells him don't worry about making it back down here to make up hours, work from home!! Yeeehaaaw!!

Anyway, I then get a lovely Me to You bear card (I collect me to you bears) and the boxed special edition set of the first series of Star Trek Voyager. Then an hour ago he opens the door and takes delivery of a parcel I thought was my S2 order but no, its a gorgeous Orchid plant with Chocolates from him. Its been a long standing joke that he knows the Interflora number off by heart for flowers for every one but me, his words when I disintegrated?

'Oh c'mon, you didn't think I'd let you go for Valentines with out flowers?'. He had ordered it knowing he wouldn't be here to make amends :Love:

I came down to a gift set of wine and chocolates and because it didn't need wrapping he'd popped a bow on the box lol. I also got a lovely card and box of cocodamol (which he said he was also going to put a bow on).

It was lovely as I wasn't expecting anything. I've not had the best last few days so it did put a smile on my face.

Oh and I've just recieved a card off of my daughter with a home made bookmark inside, bless.

I'm just about recovering lol have the worst hangover :lol:

Steve was a total sweetie last night I got cooked a three course dinner, Prawn Cocktail, Beef Stew and New York Cheesecake - it was delicious!

I also got a box of Thorntons chocolates

i got nothing!!:cry: first time in years that i never even got a card! mind you last year i got some yellow and orange flowers when my oh knows i don't like orange and yellow flowers. think he said something along the lines of 'it's the thought that counts'! what thought!! needless to say i am single this year.

I also had a specially made card off him saying to sarah my dream girl,and inside were his own words printed.. lovely!!

..And a lovely meal and wine last night.. (Cooked by his mum though!! ) :lol:This is cus we had the meal with his mum and dad and his sister!
It was very good though!!
