Hi Everyone,
I'm new to Salongeek and the world of nails and would love some wisdom from you all .

I have recently completed a one day manicure and pedicure course through capital hair and beauty . I wanted to do it originally as I love playing with my nails and thought it would be a really nice thing to do for myself . However, I have found that
I really enjoyed doing the course and would like to continue to do further ones.
So I really need some advice as to where I go from here .

The one day course was taught by The Training company and is accredited by the guild of beauty therapists but I think it's just a certificate rather than a qualification . Is that ok?

I really need some first step help .
I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on the wrong course , so looking to get some advice .

i hope you can give me some pearls of wisdom.

A confused and bewildered , All that Sparkles ...

It will be fine if the course us accredited IT means you can be insured to start treating clients. Which area are you from and what other courses do you want to complete? X

Hi Amber , I'm living in Hampshire and would like to do gel polish and then probably gel extensions . Just not sure what are the best courses to do really .
I've signed up for a opi gel colour course through capital again but not sure if it's worth it or if I should do another type of course to get a qualification .

With extensions i would not do a one day course! I did and ended up having to retrain! X
