Hey guys, my aunt is coming round in a bit, she's asked me to match her hair to her wig's colour.
My problem is, she's recently had leukaemia and a lot of chemo therapy, so her hair is around an inch long, if not a tad shorter, I have the colours in to match the wig, but it's just hit me how short the hair is and would a cap with bleach highlights then flood the rest work, I'm not sure if te cap highlights will be close enough I work or not, my other idea was tiny it all, wipe off where te highlights are wanted and free hand apply ( with the hair being so short it shouldn't give a blead look.

Any suggestions or someone who has done hair this short? Xoxo

I'm sorry to hear about that. I don't think it is advisable to give her hair color with her condition.

You can use the reversed meche method. Slice, paint the flood colour on the left out hair, place a short meche sticky side down with it's tail hanging. Paint second colour onto the hair/back of meche. Place anothe meche over it sticky side down. Repeat until all the hair is covered.
You have to work very exact and cleanly doing this method, bit it works on mega short hair.

Always leave the corners tint free so that the meche stick to each other.

I would get a doctors note to say its ok to colour chemo and colouring can sometimes have disastrous results. Medication does crazy things to the hair xx

Drs generally say 6 months after chemo it's ok to colour.

Thanks guys, it's been about 9 months now since the last chemo treatment, we were going to go for herbatint to begin with, but she wants the result to look like her wig, and I doubt it would be possible with that.

Thanks for all the help, it's going to be a well done getting through it treat off me. She's having it next weekend now though xoxo
