Right im feeling rubbish at the mo and baffled! Am i doing things wrong? I had a client who is a base 6 but i do really blonde highlights and she decided she wanted to go brown about a 6! So i put 7nw on but its really patchy. I did a thorough full head tint and massaged and left for 45 mins but very patchy. I thought with matrix you didnt need to pre pig? Matrix isnt living up to my expectations or im doing something wrong! I used 10 vol aswell

You still have to pre pig if youre going from really blonde to dark blonde. blonde hair tends to suck up the colour if its not pre pigged, and this will result in patchy colour. Should have used sync to pre pig, then applied colour after.... I would re apply if the colour is what you wanted- this should cover the patches
xx

Ye i think i will! Im just feeling really rubbish at the mo about hairdressing! Having a down day! Nothing has gone right!

We all have done mistakes. Without mistakes we wouldn't learn. Don't beat yourself down. You had a valuable experience, that's all!

Exactly what Laura said! Come on, we all mess up sometimes! You live you learn, and no one learnt anything from being perfect!
You know how to put it right, and how to prevent it in future, so the day is not a loss - its a win!
Cheer up and ring the wine bell missy :)

7wn in sync is good no patches

Thanks guys! My client loves it, she's not said anything but I said I'd do it again but she's happy! But I'm nt happy so have told her to ring me wen it fades! So should I just go over with 7nw again with 10vol? Or should I use a semi! In future shud I use semi straight away? X

I always use sync for darkening unless grey 100% coverage needed its alot better for condition
