Holistic supplies in the north-west area

Hi all,
I'm new to this site (please be gentle with me) and I have had a read through the posts before coming up with my question;

I am a holistic therapist working in the north west (Manchester/Cheshire) area. Until recently I used to get good quality, fairly priced supplies - like base products, essential oils, couch roll etc,etc. from a local supplier. Unfortunately, this place has noW closed down. I now have little choice for getting my supplies - it's either beauty/hair supply shops which have THE smallest product section for holistics, or buy off the internet and have lots of 'fun' with delivery and the royal mail!!!

Basically, I'm asking all of you that practice holistic therapy working in the North West area - WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR SUPPLIES?

I am based in Altrincham and I have to say I haven't found anywhere locally that specialises in massage oils etc. I have bought items from Eve Taylor and Amphora Aromatics by mail order.

I think you may have to go down the mail order route.

the only other option I can think of is that there is a crystal shop near the big B&Q Warehouse in Stockport, not sure if they do oils etc.

Hi therapygeek, I order from Base Formula for some of my essential and base oils, (they are well packaged too) they are extremely helpful when you ring them, they are based in Melton Mowbray. Do you not have a Sallys near you ?

yeah, there is a tiny one in stockport - very small selection for therapy stuff tho. It's all hair, nails and beauty. It's the same problem if you go to Alan Howard, or M&S supplies.
More hair, nails and beauty.......

Have you tried salons direct? You can order from their site or it's about a 45 minute drive down the motorway for you to their shop in Bidston on the wirral. If you look at their site it'll show you how to get down there; they sell base oils, bottles, essential oils, hopi candles etc.
