Holo chrome help!

help ladies [emoji20] I have ordered the holo powder off glitterarty nails but I'm having trouble trying to get the powder to stick? I have used Gell ll no wipe topcoat and cant get to grips with it. Any help is greatly appreciated x

Hi. I've not used the powder you've mentioned. I ordered my holo pigment from Nail Artisan and then from Magpie but I do use the Gel II no cleanse topcoat. It's awesome!

Application for me has been done in two ways.

Cure no cleanse top coat and then apply pigment with a sponge eye shadow applicator

Or

Apply pigment using silicone tools.

These were done using the Gel II no cleanse and eye makeup sponges.

Do this Hun it works perfect ... Do gel colour as normal, Apply no wipe top coat then flash cure for 10 seconds then apply aurora, put back in for a full cure, apply final topcoat.

I also saw something in one of the groups about the type of eye shadow applicator you use can have a massive impact on the outcome xx

Just to check, did you order the powder from their eBay store or from the group? If it's the one from the eBay store I'm sorry to say it is just a fine glitter that you rub into the tacky layer. It gives off a cloudy, less holo effect. If it's the one from the group that was about £18 try using a silicone applicator, I find they work well.

Aww that's a shame, I also ordered it hoping for the super holo [emoji53] Glad to hear the Magpie one is better.

I have one from Candy Coat but their customer service is God awful so I don't particularly recommend.
