Hi Guys,

I have been doing my own waxing at home for years but just wanted your views on this.
My sister bought me some hot wax the other day (she used to work in a salon); and it works really well.

Only weird thing is that I have to melt it at a really low temperature. (I have small depileve wax pot. Usually melt wax on 3 but this wax I put it between 1 and 2)

If I heat it at a higher temperature it becomes way too runny (like warm wax) and will burn your skin off.

I just think it is very strange...but I am not complaining because it works reallly well.

The ratio of various ingredients in a wax will affect its working temperature, but newer generation non-strip/hard waxes have come a long way in recent years and many do melt at a much lower temperature than traditional hot waxes - it certainly makes for a much more pleasant experience for the client! :D

Thanks Axiom, you´re a star.

Can´t believe that isn´t in my text book, you would think they would be updated.
