Hi geeks!

Would just like to ask how long roughly you spend on actually prepping / filing the nails before starting with the base coat?

It can easily take me 15, 20 minutes and I feel like I'm taking far too long, it can take me 2 and a half hours to do hands and feet and that's with 2 lamps!

I have been doing this mobile for 6 weeks, thank you!

Gel Polish? Probably half an hour, 2 minutes to wrap 10 fingers, 8 and half minutes to soak, 10 minutes to remove wraps and residue, 10 minutes to file to shape.

Gel extensions/enhancements - probably closer to an hour of prep taking down length, buffing off stress area and any lifting/cracks/issues, cuticle work and prime before re-application.

Its a bit like a decorater, 90% of the work is in the prep, actual application is the easy and quick bit.

A new set without removal?
Maybe 15 mins. But it depends on their nails- if they need a lot of length taken down then longer and if they have very overgrown cuticles then again longer. If they are in good nick and just need a quick shape, cuticle push and clean and buff then maybe 10 mins

Thanks ladies, yes a new set without removal so how long it takes before you actually start to put the first coat on, I think I'm spending far too much time when I prep!

Thank you hopefully also I get a bit quicker with experience :)
