Yes, I like wax my to arrive in a tin, although you do know PR sell empty tins? Way less than £7.
They're 800g tins though and they're too big for my wee heater, I always need to heat the PR strip waxes in hot water then decant the PR waxes into my heater, this is where Berins have the upper hand in my opinion x

I do totally understand as that is one of my problems wth the Babyliss double heater. Looks cute... but not man enough!

i need more wax pots:green:
I just need a wax heater so i can play with my testers, I'm itching to get my hands on someone hairy lol

loved my Jetset sample

Here's my findings....

Heated it up on around 4 then turned it down to just under 3.

Applied it fairly thickly ( found the thinner i did it the more 'bits' it left).

I LOVE IT !!!!

It's nice and flexy, sets JUST right - nice and quick - not too quick - and no pressing to see if it HAS set...it just 'does'. Its not over hot in my salon this evening. Did an 'all off' and under arm wax and i am extremely impressed.

Only time i did experience it setting TOO quick was when i'd got low down to the bottom of the pot, so i will just keep it nicely topped up.

I havent exprienced the brittleness AT ALL?

Not tried the blue yet, will use that tomorrow!

Massive thumbs up from me - especially as i ordered the eb last week and it didnt arrive:irked: ! they didnt tell me at the time of placing my order either.

Early days but i think its a fab product.

I am so pleased that you are enjoying your first experiences with the Jet... I am sure you will adore the Blue too.. it is so lush... and a dream to use.

i am a bit confused as to the 'brittleness' peeps are experiencing?

wonder why this is?

i truly could hand on heart say i had no problem, only thing i'd say is work too thin and yes you dont get it come off in a clean manner you get 'bits':green:

I think its just a case of learning the new product... it can take a bit of adjustment but it is relatively easy to use like you have experienced. Practising getting the perfect strip will stop the bits ... there needs to be a nice even edge and although thin application... it needs to be consistent with a good even edge, you can add too the strip with more wax it if its not much like other non strip waxes... its very forgiving in that way.

Pressing down nice and firm with the edge of the spatula while applying will get the hairs gripped and help make a cleaner removal of the shorter or stronger hairs.

Applying too thin will probably make the Jetset seem brittle... just add a little more to counteract this effect.

Tried the jet set again yesterday for an underarm and it worked a charm!!!

Makes me wonder if it's just men it struggles with (maybe not strong enough for their hair?) Maybe it would be better to use Blue for men and keep the jet set for women where it seems to have no problems.

I haven't experienced any 'bits' so i guess my strips must be awright....

Maybe one of the other users can comment on how they found the jet set on really tough man hair?

Well i would like to add to my previous post!

I used the jet set quite a lot over the weekend on men and women on different areas of the body and it was brilliant! My husband must just have been a freak!

I really like the application and it just feels nice to use! And i like the colour, although that isn't exactly a professional point to make

I've still not tried the others in the Berins range but i await the delivery any day now to give them all a shot!

I had an asian guy in this lunch time for a back wax and he did have a lot of hair which was removed no problem (without trimming) with the Ease warm wax. However, he had shaved TWO days ago on his upper middle back area just below the neck and I thought there was no way I would get them out. But you know.. I persevered with the Jet and making sure he was oiled under the wax and I got the majority out... just tiny tiny specks left... I was amazed myself as the hairs were only just broke free of the skin surface and they were course hairs.

I loved the Jetset so much so I tried to order more yesterday as I was desperate to continue with it, and the demand has been unprecedented and I can't get more for another 7-14 days.

I have a major gob on:irked::):irked::cry:

I am really sorry but jet set sold out in 3 days...seems I completely misjudged take up as generally jet set is for hot countries and can only apologise for getting it wrong ...more is coming though:)

Just to help..the Blue is for general all climate use

This is NOT an "advert" or "spamming" but an apology ....realy sorry guy's as I feel Ive let you down

Since Scotland is generally known as freezing I can understand you misjudging it.

I will pm you for an update on stock:hug:

Oh no i ordered more today! I didn't know it was on back order :( Just aswell i ordered some blue aswell.

No i just found it brittle my strips were perfect (It is easier to get a perfect strip with the jet set) The wax was fine on my arms removed every hair but on my hubby's arm pits it just snapped possibly because of the strength of his hairs but i've never experienced this with euroblonde. It was sorer after the waxing apparantly although he could just be a big wimp i dunno i have no way of proving his pain.

I'm going to check tonight when i see him again and see if there is any redness still as he normally reacts quite bad with waxing and stays red for about 48hrs.

I'm just trying to give my honest opinion on the waxes i'll comment on the blue and ease once i've tried it, but i've heard these two waxes are miles better than the jet set.

I'll keep you posted when i check him tonight x

I've deleted the prices to abide with site rules but it can be easily checked

I think there is always a learning curve with a new line, regardless of how good we are with any given style of product. I did have to re-train myself on how thick or thin I made strips depending on the brand and the product within the brand. Snapping can be caused from the strip being too thin, or the room too cold for the Jet Set. I totally prefer the Blue for the big reason that is it way more flexible. I would only use that JS if it was a hot summer and my room was not well air conditioned, other than that it is blue all the way! (for me anyway.) So if you are good with the other wax already, to get apple to apple feedback, work with new line for awhile and then do 2 sides.
