Ingrown hairs why oh why???

so the answer to all that was no one really knows why some people suffer with ingrowing hairs and some people dont?

I suffer with them i cant resist a pick no amount of exfoliating helps it.

I have to shave i hate the regrowth but i hate ingrowing hairs more
