I really like the look of this brand, there certainly are quite a few colours I love. I'm a Gelish girl however their colours lately just haven't wowed me over & fading issues gets me down!! I use Scrub Fresh & DSperse with Gelish as
I find both products work well with the CND enhancements I currently offer at the moment. Would I still be able to still use these products with the iLac colours? Or would the iLac equivalent work well with the CND enhancements? Or any nail service for that matter xx

I use scrubfresh and it's been fine. I'm still getting good results with ilac :)

I should imagine so. But they Do recommend using their dehydrator as it has I different formula to other prep lotions. And they recommend using the INK cleanse afterwards as it had a better quality alcohol in it compared to isopropyl alcohol. This unique formula helps bring out the shine of the nail.
I've also starting using their lamp and it's really good. I've had no issues with curing but I know some guys on here have. It can be a little runny if your not carefully so über thin layers. You don't need to buff the natural nail before application which is a dream.

Could you post some pictures of a set youve done with 1-2 weeks growth please ? X

Hi Hun, I only got my kit on mon so the ones I did on mon have only been on 6 days. I'll post some pics in a week xx

jennijen, how did you apply the xlac?

I used the ink led lamp, prepped then it was 3 coats 30 sec for first 2 coats then 60 sec for the final coat xx

Had some feedback from a few ladies now re iLac, they are getting about 2 weeks, I personally think this is quite similar to shellac (it is a hybrid after all!) in that I doubt it will suit thin flaky nails. I have been using Brisa lite smoothing under my weaker clients and this really helps those problem nails! Will be trying gelish structure soon too as it is led cure x

These look great. How thin did you do the coats? I've tried x-1 & x-14, both needed 3 coats with the 3rd coat being a little thicker. I tried to do them super thin but after the 2nd they looked really streaky, hence the 3rd coat being a bit thicker. They felt a bit 'rubbery' after the final coat, is this normal or is it because the final coat was a bit thicker? I didn't see the 'rubber' feel as a negative thing, just different to normal. Unfortunately mine lifted at the free edge after about 4 days, I've obviously not got the knack of xlac yet! xx

My coats were thin but not non existent if you know what I mean? I had coverage by the third coat but it did need 3. Give the last coat and extra blast in the lamp so 60 secs and then an extra 30 sec just to be sure it's fully cured and see if that helps x

These are x-lac. They've been on my sister 12 days. She does the washing up 4-5 times a day and won't wear gloves so think they've lasted quite well.

Just used my red I-16 for the first time. It went on like a dream. It's definitely my favourite so far :)
