Innovation colour?

Is anybody using innovation tint? I'm just wondering what i would use to nutralise red as they're number 7 tone is beige, i was told i could use an ash tone, but i thought that ash tones orange, can i use it to tone red too?

You have 3 types of ash, a green based for red, a blue base for orange and a violet base for yellow

How do u know what type of ash it is? Is 9.12 a violet ash and 9.1 a blue ash? If so what is a green ash? Thanks in advance
