Hi all,

I feel like I have been searching for days and days to find a nail technician course in Berkshire for a good price and good training. I want to learn it all really, rather than doing one day courses for each service. I have enquired a lot of places but I get my roster 15th of every month so it's hard to plan a months in advance. I have time off at the end of August which I'm hoping to do it then ! Any recommendations? Would love one that includes the kit too but I know that is hard to find with a complete nail course.

Lots of people are saying CND however I couldn't find them doing it in the UK ? And I know they are expensive which is worth it but trying to save for a mortgage too

If I can't find a complete nail technician course which course would you recommend I train in first ?

CND's UK stockist and training provider is www.SweetSquared.com check out their website for training locations and dates. Some of the best training you will ever receive, but certainly not cheap, it sorts the wheat from the chaff.

More locally to you https://www.thecreativebeautygroup.co.uk/ - don't do CND training but do train in Entity which I have found to be a great product.

I'm sure other Geeks will be along with other suggestions too. You can also try searching on here for training, it's a popular theme and there are loads of threads about it.

If you can't do full technician training, you will need to start with a basic manicure qualification, most decent training for Gel Polish won't accept you without one. If they do, be wary, the very least you need is basic H&S and A&P before going anywhere near products and paying clients. Be sure whoever you train provide a recognised qualification that you can get insured with. Very disappointing to spend money on training then find it's worthless as you can't get insured.
