Making staff self employed?

Hi
Could someone give me advice on self employment?
I currently run a beauty salon with 4 employed girls but thinking of making them self employed but wondered how other people do it ?

Are you aware of the HMRC rules on being self employed?
You will not be able to dictate uniform, working hours, products used, treatments offered, and their clients are not yours; they belong to the individual therapist.

You can’t just ‘make them self employed’ as you’re effectively sacking them and depending on their length of service, you could be sued for unfair dismissal. You need to get proper legal advice before you take this any further.
