Mirror nails - help!

Right, I've got my first 'chrome customer' tonight. So far I've only practised on me and pop sticks! Wish me luck!

Hi I struggled with the tiara chrome powder at first but I have finally cracked it .
What I did was apply a white base colour x2 then I got a lint wipes and rubbed sticky layer off and then lightly buffed the white gel polish ( helps with a smooth finish) then I cleaned with a lint wipe to remove dust.Next I applied a no wipes top coat / cured . Then applied the tiara dust powder using a eye shadow applicator . Next I applied no wipe top coat and cured. Once cured I applied another layer of tiara and then top coat and cure . Done it left a very chrome mirror effect and,my little boy said he can see his face lol x I found tiara better with white underneath. Hope this helps

this is tiara over dark grey and NSI glaze and go LED.
Pic doesn't show but it has not grainy at all and has a mirror reflection

So, I was really pleased with how they turned out. So was the client. Nice mirror effect, nice shine. Lighting was shocking last night, so she sent me these from her car this morning lol.
Only downside to chrome, the dust goes EVERYWHERE!! I felt terrible leaving her house, I cleaned as well as I could, but you could literally see the dust floating in the air lol

well I'm buffled! My ebay chrome powder arrived and I just had to try it. I know the procedure I know everyone's comments and tricks and I still got a glitter effect, not chrome
help!
I did 2 * colours coats & cured, original shellac top coat, cured, took tacky layer off with lint free wipe, applied my chrome, then again top coat & cured *2.
It looked glitter even from application

Cocoallure got it working with shellac by wiping the nails with the cleanser and applying the chrome immediately doing one nail at a time. As soon as she's wiped she rubs it on

You need to quickly rub it in as soon as you've taken the tacky layer off so it's still slightly wet rub it in hard until it squeaks and take it up to the free edge and you have to do this step one nail at a time

thanks coco. i'll give it a try again later. perhaps i'll try this make up sponge trick too. i certainly need to order some pop sticks. i'm out!

I haven't tried chrome for a while now but I watched Sonia Stafford's latest live video on Facebook and hers worked really well, so I think I might buy the same products that she uses and give it a go
