Just wondered how all you mobile stylists advertise? Do you only do people that you know or people that have been recommended?

I find the word of mouth clients are by far the best and because you have already been highly recommended, your job is sooo much easier. Flyers are ok too I did 10,000 and got a few appointments they were clients that were after a cheap deal and some one off random clients. I would rather offer your loyal clients a discount if they recommend a friend and u end up doing their hair. Usually good clients have good friends!! only in my experience anyway

I have the back window on my car stickered with my details which gets alot of interest. It mainly is by word of mouth but also a website and advertising on google places to get yourself on the map brings in business also.

having a business facebook page is a great way of updating pictures, appointment availability etc. I also like to upload video tutorials on there from youtube of side buns, fishtail plaits etc for my clients to try at home.
