OK well here's my bit . . .
I've been a nail tech for 9 years (l&p and gel - and trained! Lol), now offering Shellac as well
I find my business is approx 60% l&p, 20% Shellac, 10% gel, 10% toes (Hollywood/Rockstar/colour gel). No natural nail manicures hardly ever really, just odd ones here and there often when they are given a gift voucher as a treat. I hate to say it as I don't agree with the statement but I think the majority of people think they can do a decent manicure job on themselves. Thank goodness they can't do l&p on themselves as that's my bread and butter:wink2:
As a trend, I am doing less French and more natural l&p with a bright colour polish.
