Hey all!

OK so the title says it all, she's fantastic, a friend & great worker but ........

She copy's everything I wear... And I mean everything!

Many may say its a compliment but its got so bad that clients have started commenting/ mocking us!

I have stopped telling her where I have bought clothes/shoes from and she's still doing it.

She even said last week...."I really like your boho style in the summer so I'll start wearing boho too I think"

She told me last week that her husband asked her why she's dressing like me, she just shrugged off his comment .....

How do I approach this ? I've even thought about getting the staff to start wearing uniform, but ultimately I like everyone's unique style. And don't want to take that away!

Please please help!

I think thats a compliment but i can agree it must be very annoying! Maybe start wearing stuff completely different and see if she starts copying that..although you shouldn't have to change your style! xx

Eek that's so awkward! I feel for you.

Are you friendly enough for a shopping trip where you suggest stuff for her? Like oh that would look great on you! You're so lucky that you can pull off that style. Wish i could.

Or comment on something she used to wear? What happened to that pink dress you used to have. I loved that on you!

Otherwise it's going to have to be said straight up. Thank you for the compliment but i like having my own style and i would like you to have yours too x

That's a bit spooky isn't it.
I'm sure its a compliment really though. Perhaps she's a bit over the top with other things too in her life.
Having a uniform always helps a salon I think when there are several members of staff. Helps the professional corporate image.

I don't know what to suggest apart from try wearing everything black for a few weeks to break the pattern.
If she follows by also wearing all black, then you have your salon uniform...lol! :p
