My clients nails have suddenly developed ridges running horizontally across all her nails. She has gelish every 4Weeks....any ideas why this would happen?

Could it have been caused by your cuticle work? Has the client damaged her nails in any way?

I get really bad horizontal ridges across my nails, mainly my toe nails, if I have been poorly with the flu or a virus.

Ridges can appear a couple of months after an illness especially if they were on antibiotics.
Other reasons are trauma to the growing area or just poor circulation.
If the ridging is on all toes I'm guessing it will be due to either illness or circulation / medication changes.
Loads of clients have ridges in their big toe nails so I wouldn't worry. The gel itself cannot cause them.

I get stress ridges running across my nails if something particularly stressful has happened, could it be that?
